Sunday School at TGC

Our Kids (9:30 a.m.)

We have nursery and Sunday School classes for those newborn through 12th grade. (We consider the privilege of keeping and teaching our covenant children a high calling God has given His people.  Therefore, every member has an opportunity to fulfill his/her covenant vows through voluntarily serving our children, even from infancy.)

Our Adults (9:30 a.m.)

Distinctive’s Class – led by our pastor, this class provides the answer to the questions “Who are we?” and “Why do we do what we do in the way that we do it?”  This class is a prerequisite to membership and will be held in the fall of 2017 and spring of 2018.

Jesus in the Old Testament– the aim of this class is to examine what Luke meant when he said, “And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he interpreted to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself.” (Luke 24:27) and what Jesus meant when he said, “These are my words that I spoke to you while I was still with you that everything written about me in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled.” (Luke 24:44).  Seeing Jesus in the Historical Books will be the topic in the fall of 2017.

Parenting By Grace – the aim of this class is to examine the Scriptural call to parenting. This class will be held in winter of 2017.

Systematic Theology – the aim of this class is to examine the specific theological principles and beliefs we hold and to understand how they each have a direct bearing on and relevance to each other.  This class is held in the spring of 2018.

Special Emphasis Sundays –Periodically, throughout the year, we gather for special emphasis Sundays.  For example, Missions Sunday, Easter Sunday, etc.
